At the Imbusch Lab, we study the immune system in health and disease, with a particular interest in its interactions within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Our mission is to better understand fundamental immune processes and how immune cells interact with other cell types, including cancer cells—such as tumor cells’ evasion of the immune system.
To tackle these questions, we employ cutting-edge technologies like single-cell, spatial, and genomic sequencing (NGS). By integrating multi-omics data with clinical parameters, we aim to uncover insights that drive basic research and pave the way for clinical advancements.
