  • Sino-German Mobility Program M-0351 | 7th Meeting

Charles was invited to the 7th meeting of the Sino-German Mobility Program (M-0351), “Converging Pathways in Immunity – From Cells to Clinical Applications.” He presented our collaborative work with Dr. Elias Amro and Prof. Nina Papavasilou on an APOBEC2 deficiency–driven mixed T/B cell phenotype, highlighting the emergence of T/B hybrid lymphocytes.

Beyond the excellent feedback and lively discussion, the meeting sparked valuable exchanges that are already seeding new ideas and potential collaborations.

Many thanks to Tim Sparwasser, Peiying Li, and Alexandra Böttcher for the outstanding organization!

  • MOPITAS Autumn School on Spatial Transcriptomics

MOPITAS Autumn School on Spatial Transcriptomics

In November, Lenart attended the MOPITAS Autumn School on Spatial Transcriptomics Data Analysis (12–14 November 2025), held at the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI) (https://event.sdu.dk/mopitas-school).

The school focused on hands-on training in spatial transcriptomics, covering the full analysis workflow from raw data processing to advanced multi-omics integration. Lectures in the mornings were complemented by practical sessions in the afternoons, including small project work and pipeline comparisons, which encouraged detailed discussion of current best practices and methodological challenges in spatial data analysis.

The program brought together leading researchers and tool developers from academia and industry. Overall, it was a very well-organized and insightful event, providing methods and perspectives that are directly relevant to our ongoing work.
