On 19 August 2026, the Imbusch Lab joined the Institute of Immunology’s annual outing (Betriebsausflug) and summer party.
The day started rather fancily – with golf! Divided into three groups, we learned and practised our swings at the driving range before competing in accuracy challenges and for the best team score. Spoiler: Charles even won a prize! 🏌️🏆
After golf, we enjoyed a beautiful walk through the forest, played some fun games, and ended the day with a barbecue at the Alte Ziegelei.
Whether Charles will pursue a new professional career in golf remains unclear. One thing, however, is certain: the outing and summer party offered a wonderful opportunity to reconnect both within the Imbusch Lab and across the entire Institute of Immunology.
