A relaxed evening at the Christmas market in Mainz gave our group the perfect chance to unwind after work. With warm drinks and snacks, we enjoyed the festive atmosphere and had plenty of time to catch up outside the office.

We spent a summer day hiking to Weißer Stein in the Odenwald near Heidelberg. The route offered forest views and a great break from our desks, with plenty of time for informal discussions along the trail.

We marked the end of the year with a group Christmas dinner in Mainz. The evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the past year and enjoy time together outside the lab in a relaxed setting.

For our first retreat, we joined the ABI group, which we are also part of with our Computational Oncoimmunology Team.

A subteam of researchers went out for a battling soccer game between local Hoffenheim and Bremen. Clear win for Hoffenheim, well, until the red card for Hoffenheim made it easy for Bremen.
